What's happened?
A freight train has broken down between West Malling and Borough Green & Wrotham. Trains in both directions on the Maidstone East line came to a stop while this was investigated. Trains on the line towards London cannot currently run, and trains away from London via Maidstone East are delayed. Response staff are on site responding to the broken down freight train.
How does this affect my journey?
Trains from Maidstone East towards London Charing Cross cannot run.
Trains from Ashford International to London Victoria via Maidstone East will be diverted between Ashford International and Otford, using an alternative route via Tonbridge.
Services away from London via Maidstone East are subject to delay and short notice alteration.
