Urgent repairs to the track between London Charing Cross and London Bridge means fewer trains are able to run between these stations.
Trains between London Charing Cross and London Bridge may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
What's happened?
A fault with the signalling system was found at London Bridge in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The fault means that trains leaving Charing Cross can only use platform 6, which significantly reduces the amount of trains which can run to and from Charing Cross today.
Network Rail will not be able to fix the repairs until overnight on Thursday, so changes to Southeastern services will be ongoing throughout the day.
How does this affect my journey?
The following service alterations will be in place to reduce the amount of trains running to and from Charing Cross.
- Trains which normally run between Ramsgate/Dover Priory and Charing Cross will divert to run to/from London Victoria.
- There'll be fewer trains running between Tonbridge and Charing Cross and some will divert to London Cannon Street.
- Metro Services on the Woolwich, Bexleyheath and Sidcup Lines may be cancelled, diverted to Cannon Street or delayed.
