Train services are currently unable to run between Huyton and Wigan North Western in both directions. Where possible, services will divert via an alternative route but will not be able to call at stations between Huyton and Wigan North Western.
Road transport is in operation between Liverpool Lime Street and Wigan North Western.
Journey times will be extended by 60 minutes whilst travelling by rail replacement transport.
