A lorry has collided with a bridge in the Mirfield area causing disruption to trains between Leeds and Manchester via Huddersfield, and via Brighouse.

Trains will be delayed by up to 20 minutes, cancelled or revised as a result.

This is expected to continue until 13:00.

Additional Information:

Network Rail staff are expected on site at 12:25 to assess the situation.

The 10:37 Manchester Victoria - Leeds service is first affected and is delayed at Mirfield pending Network Rail staff's bridge examination.
