A safety inspection of the track between Leatherhead and Dorking means all lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised.

Disruption is expected to continue until 09:30.

What We're Doing About It

We have been informed of a safety inspection of the track between Leatherhead and Dorking. Until this has been completed, all lines are blocked. 

Until further notice the following alterations apply:

  • London Waterloo - Dorking services will be diverted to Hampton Court and call additionally at Surbiton
  • Dorking to London Waterloo services will start at Raynes Park.

To help assist you with your journey, SWR tickets will be accepted on the following services:

  • London Buses route 465: Dorking - Leatherhead - Surbiton - Kingston 
  • Southern services between London Victoria/Clapham Junction and Epsom in both directions

Southern

Due to a safety inspection of the track between Epsom and Dorking, the line towards Dorking and Horsham is blocked. No trains can run between these stations.

Trains which would run between London Victoria and Horsham via Dorking will instead either run between London Victoria and Leatherhead or will divert and run to Horsham via Gatwick / Three Bridges.

You can use your ticket to travel at no extra cost on:

  • Southern services on any reasonable route to your destination
  • Great Western Railway services between Dorking Deepdene and Gatwick Airport. Dorking Deepdene is a roughly 7 minutes walk from Dorking station.
  • London Buses between Dorking and Kingston

 

Please note that using these alternatives will extend your journey time by up to an additional 30 minutes.
