Due to passengers causing a disturbance on a train between Arundel and Barnham the line towards Barnham, Bognor Regis, Portsmouth and Southampton is currently closed. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 25 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Customer Advice:
You will need to allow extra time to travel and complete your journey this evening.
Currently there are no alternative travel options to assist with your onward travel, however Southern have requested rail replacement buses to help you continue moving.
These buses, which should be at Amberley and Arundel in due course, will travel to Barnham where you will be able to make connections to your onward destinations.
Please note, this will extend your journey by approximately 30 minutes, so please ensure you leave at least this amount of extra time to complete your journey.
