A broken down freight train between Herne Hill and Tulse Hill means lines are blocked. As a result of this, trains may be cancelled or diverted.

Thameslink services will be disrupted on the route between St Albans City, Sutton & Wimbledon.
The line from Herne Hill towards Tulse Hill is blocked.
Trains will be terminated before they get to the area, cancelled, or diverted between London Blackfriars and either Tulse Hill or Sutton.
Diverted trains will not call at the usual stations en route.
Please listen carefully to station announcements and check departure screens before you join your train.
To help you complete your journey, we are arranging for your ticket to be valid on alternative routes.
At present, Thameslink tickets will be valid on Southern services between London Bridge and Streatham, as well as services between London and Sutton.

A freight train is unable to move forward on one of the lines approaching Tulse Hill. Thameslink are working with Network Rail and the train operator to get this service on the move, but this may not be a quick process.
