An obstruction on the track between between Gatwick Airport and Redhill means that some lines are blocked. Trains running between these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 30 minutes. Disruption is expected until 15:30.

Trains are unable to call at Salfords and Earlswood until further notice. Please allow an extra 30 minutes to complete your journey.

  • METROBUS 100 between Gatwick Airport and Redhill
  • Southern services between Gatwick Airport and London
  • London Underground between terminating stations across the city

Can you tell me more about the incident?

There is an obstruction on the tracks at Salfords, stopping trains from using the line. Salfords and Earlswood will not have a service in either direction. Staff on site have observed a number of items across the tracks and are having to take a block of the line to remove them.
