A person has been hit by a train between Edinburgh and Dunblane / Glasgow Queen Street. To allow the emergency services to safely attend the scene, all lines between these stations are currently closed.

This means that services running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

This is expected until 12:00.

Customer advice:

You may use your ticket to travel on alternative ScotRail services via any reasonable route at no extra cost.

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
