Trains are now retuning to normal following a communication alarm being activated on a train between South Croydon and Sanderstead earlier today.
Trains between East Croydon and Oxted may still be cancelled or delayed by up to 10 minutes. Disruption is expected until 19:00.

A train had an issue onboard just after leaving South Croydon. This service had come to a stand just South of South Croydon across the junction allowing trains to get to and off the East Grinstead and Oxted branch. This service has now moved and services through South Corydon to Purley and services to and from East Grinstead can now run as normal.
