Overrunning engineering works between East Croydon and Clapham Junction are resulting in disruption to trains between these stations.
Customer Advice:
Engineering works have overrun between East Croydon and Clapham Junction / Streatham.
These mean that some lines are still closed, and there will be delays and some cancellations.
To reduce congestion, some trains may also be revised to stop at different stations at short notice.
The following routes are affected:
Southern and Gatwick Express services to and from London Victoria
Most trains will still operate, but services between London Victoria and Sutton (via Selhurst) will be reduced.
Please expect a delay of up to 20 minutes to journeys in this area.
Thameslink services via East Croydon
These trains are using the route between East Croydon and London Blackfriars via Streatham today. Therefore, there may be some minor delays due to congestion.
Alternative journey options:
If Southern / Thameslink need to advise you to use another route, this message will be updated. At the moment, you can still use your normal route. Please use a Journey Planner to check departure times before you go to the station.
