A problem is currently under investigation between Horsham and Dorking. this is resulting in trains running at a reduced speed.

Train services running through these stations will be delayed. Disruption is expected until 18:30.

Customer Advice
Network Rail are assessing reports of a possible landslip or earthworks problem affecting the railway. Until the problem is completely understood, trains will be run at slower than usual speeds on the route between Dorking and Horsham.

Some trains may also be revised. They may be diverted away from the area, or they may only be able to run between London and Dorking, not proceeding to Horsham (and vice versa)

Ticket acceptance:

The following options are in place for Southern passengers:

  • Metrobus Route 93 bus services between Horsham, Warnham, Capel (for the Ockley area), Beare Green (for Holmwood) and Dorking
  • Great Western Railway services between Dorking West, Dorking Deepdene, Redhill and Gatwick Airport (please note Dorking Deepdene does not have step-free access, but Dorking West does)
  • South Western Railway services between Dorking, Leatherhead, Epsom, Clapham Junction and London Waterloo

We have been informed by a member of the public that there is a problem with the ground beneath the track at a location on this route. Network Rail are sending specialist engineers to investigate the report.
