The 22:29 Watford Junction to Clapham Junction service has struck a shopping trolley on the track near West Brompton.

This incident is also likely to cause minor delays to other trains via Shepherds Bush.

Southern are working with Network Rail, Fleet engineers and the train crew of the affected service. The shopping trolley has caused some damage to the train.
Response staff are now on site and working to deal with this. We may need to use another train to rescue passengers and take them to Clapham Junction, if this is the quickest option. More information will be provided by the staff on site.
