A person has been hit by a train between Cambridge and Stansted Airport. Whilst the emergency services carry out their work, all lines between these stations are closed. Trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised until approximately 21:00.

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted on the following alternatives:

• Avanti West Coast services between Birmingham New Street and London Euston
• Greater Anglia services between Stansted Airport and London Liverpool Street
• London Underground via any reasonable route

Greater Anglia

Greater Anglia are currently unable to run services between Cambridge and Bishops Stortford in both directions. Please note that services between Hertford East and London Liverpool Street and Stansted Express services are unaffected.

To help you complete your journey, we have arranged for Greater Anglia tickets to be accepted on Great Northern and Thameslink services between Cambridge and London Kings Cross, and on London Underground services via reasonable routes. Please allow additional time for your journey.
