Can you tell me more about the incident?
Unfortunately, Southern have been advised of a problem with the power supply to the signalling equipment in the Arundel area. This means that trains can't move as normal, as a fully-working electricity supply is crucial to detecting and controlling the trains.
They are working closely with Network Rail and local electricity suppliers to make sure the power is restored. Until this is done, it is expected that there will be delays and changes to services in the area.
Normally, the signalling equipment has various backup power supplies available, so staff will be investigating whether it's possible to re-route the power and return to a normal service.
