Following trespass on the railway between Feniton and Pinhoe the line is now open.
What's Going On
Train services running through these stations are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 22:00.
What We're Doing About It
We were informed of a trespasser on the railway between Feniton and Pinhoe. Teams have now assisted the individual to a place of safety and the line is open.
Until further notice the following alterations will be necessary:
- Trains will not run between Honiton and Exeter St Davids.Â
To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services:
- Great Western Railway services between Exeter St Davids and London Paddington and between Reading and Basingstoke.
- CrossCountry services between Reading and Basingstoke.Â
- Stagecoach Buses on routes 9 and 44A.
South Western Railway have requested replacement buses to run on the following routes:
- Between Honiton and Exeter St Davids, calling at all stations.Â
Due to the disruption, customers are authorised to book their own taxi to travel between Exeter, Salisbury and Basingstoke.
In order to claim a refund you will need to provide:
- Your full contact details
- Proof of a valid ticket
- Receipt for the taxi
