A failure of the electricity supply between Alexandra Palace and Stevenage via Hertford North means that the line is currently blocked.

Trains running between these stations may be cancelled or delayed. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer Advice
If you are travelling from London on trains towards Hertford North and Gordon Hill you will need to travel via Stevenage or travel via an alternative route.

Please plenty of extra time for your journey and plan ahead you will not be able to travel directly from London to Bowes Park, Palmers Green, Winchmore Hill, Grange Park Enfield Chase, Gordon Hill, Crews Hill, Cuffley, Bayford, Hertford North and Watton-at-Stone. These station will only be served in the London bound direction.

  • Great Northern services on any route
  • Thameslink services between St Pancras International and Stevenage
  • Greater Anglia services between Hertford north and London Liverpool Street
  • London Underground services on the Piccadilly line between Finsbury Park and Cockfosters
