Engineering work is taking place between Daisy Hill and Wigan, and between Bolton and Hindley, closing some lines.

The following amendments will be in operation:

Trains between Southport and Manchester Oxford Road will not run.

Southport to Stalybridge: Trains will run between Salford Crescent and Stalybridge.

Stalybridge to Southport: Trains will run between Stalybridge and Bolton.

Trains between Wigan Wallgate and Leeds: Trains will start / terminate at Wigan North Western, and will run via an alternative route between Wigan and Manchester Victoria.

Headbolt Lane to Blackburn: Trains will run between Healdbolt Lane and Wigan Wallgate, and between Bolton and Blackburn.

Blackburn to Headbolt Lane: Trains will run between Blackburn and Salford Crescent, and between Wigan Wallgate and Headbolt Lane.

Buses will be provided between:

• Wigan Wallgate and Salford Crescent via Atherton.
• Wigan Wallgate and Bolton.
• Wigan Wallgate and Southport.
