A tree blocking the railway at Billericay means that the line is closed.
As a result, buses will replace trains between Shenfield and Southend Victoria.
This is expected until the end of the day.

Because of a tree at risk of falling onto the railway lines at Billericay and damaging the infrastructure, Network Rail are taking the steps to remove the tree tonight. As a result, the line will be closed from midnight, between Shenfield and Wickford whilst the team remove the tree.
The route affected by this incident is: Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria.
The following last train services will be cancelled or altered:
- 23:45 Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria will start from Wickford (Passengers travelling from Liverpool Street Southend Victoria should travel on the 23:48 Liverpool Street to Colchester service and change at Shenfield for a rail replacement bus to Southend Victoria)
- 00:15 Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria is cancelled. (Passengers travelling from Liverpool Street & Stratford to Southend Victoria should travel on the 00:18 Liverpool Street to Colchester service and change at Shenfield for a rail replacement bus to Southend Victoria)
- 00:50 Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria will start from Wickford. (Passengers travelling from Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria should travel on the 00:46 Liverpool Street to Colchester service and change at Shenfield for a rail replacement bus to Southend Victoria)
- From Southminster, the 22:53 Southminster to Liverpool Street service will terminate at Wickford. Passengers travelling towards London should change at Wickford for the 23:01 Southend to to Liverpool Street forward
