Buses replace trains between Sheffield and New Mills Central on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 January

Engineering work is taking place between Dore & Totley and Edale, and between Chinley and New Mills Central, closing all lines. ​​​​​​​

Northern:

Replacement buses will run between Sheffield and New Mills Newtown via New Mills Central. Trains that usually run between Sheffield and Manchester Piccadilly will run between New Mills Central and Manchester Piccadilly.

Replacement buses will not call at Edale. For Edale, change at Hope for a minibus service between Edale and Hope.

If you require step free travel, you should travel via New Mills Newtown. Alternative train services run between New Mills Newtown and Manchester Piccadilly.

It is not yet known how East Midlands Railway or TransPennine Express will be affected by this engineering work.
