Rail replacement road transport will operate between Morpeth and stations to Edinburgh.

LNER

An hourly service will run to / from Scotland via Carlisle, extending journey times by up to 90 minutes. Other services between London Kings Cross and Scotland will run between London Kings Cross and Newcastle only.

Replacement buses will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh, calling at Morpeth, Alnmouth, Berwick-upon-Tweed and Dunbar.

Northern

Saturday

Trains will start / terminate at Morpeth.

Buses will be provided between Morpeth and Chathill.

Sunday

No alterations.

ScotRail

Buses will replace trains between Dunbar / Gorebridge / North Berwick.
