The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Doncaster and Gainsborough Lea Road. Whilst they carry out their work all lines are closed. Trains between Doncaster and Lincoln Central will be cancelled.
This is expected until 11:30.
How does this affect my train?
Trains will be unable to run between Doncaster and Lincoln Central in both directions. Trains will start from Lincoln Central and trains from Peterborough will terminate at Lincoln Central. At present it is expecting the line to reopen in the next 2 hours. As soon as the line is open again, the priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again. We expect that the advertised timetable to resume on the affected routes by 11:30.
How do I get where I need to be?
If you are travelling to Doncaster from Lincoln Central, you are able to use your tickets to travel via Newark Northgate to transfer onto a LNER service from Newark Northgate to Doncaster. If you are travelling to Lincoln Central from Doncaster, you are able to use your tickets on the 09:56 LNER service and change at Newark Northgate for Lincoln Central.
