Effect on service:
Manchester Victoria to Blackburn services are unable to go via Darwen, in both directions. These services will divert via Todmorden where possible.
Alternative travel suggestions:
Manchester Victoria to Blackburn via Todmorden, in both directions are not affected. Please use these services for Blackburn and Clitheroe.
Please use alternative Manchester Victoria to Bolton services and change here for road transport for intermediate stations to Blackburn.
Ticket restrictions have been lifted during this disruption.
Road transport details:
To help you to complete your journey, road transport has been provided between Bolton and Blackburn, in both directions calling at all stations. These will be operated by S-Line.
Journey times will be extended by 40 minutes whilst travelling by road transport.
