Engineering work is taking place between Worcester Shrub Hill and Hereford, closing some lines.

Great Western Railway:

The following service amendments will be in place:

Saturday:

  • 06:18 Hereford to London Paddington will start from Worcester Shrub Hill. Road transport will be in place from Hereford, Ledbury and Colwall to connect with the 07:43 Great Malvern to London Paddington service.
  • 08:28 Worcester Foregate Street to London Paddington will be cancelled.
  • 08:52 London Paddington to Great Malvern will connect with road transport from Great Malvern to Colwall, Ledbury and Hereford.
  • 09:50 London Paddington to Hereford will terminate at Worcester Shrub Hill.
  • 13:20 Hereford to London Paddington will start from Great Malvern. Earlier road transport will run from Hereford, Ledbury and Colwall to Great Malvern to connect with this service.
  • 15:13 Hereford to London Paddington will start from Worcester Shrub Hill. Road transport will be in place from Hereford, Ledbury and Colwall to connect with the 14:50 Great Malvern to London Paddington service.
  • 15:52 London Paddington to Great Malvern will connect with road transport from Great Malvern to Colwall, Ledbury and Hereford.
  • 16:52 London Paddington to Hereford will terminate at Worcester Shrub Hill.
  • 20:20 Hereford to London Paddington will start from Worcester Shrub Hill. Road transport will be in place from Hereford, Ledbury and Colwall to connect with the 14:50 Great Malvern to London Paddington service.

You can also use West Midlands Railway services between Worcester Shrub Hill and Hereford.

Sunday:

Trains between London Paddington and Hereford will run between London Paddington and Great Malvern only. Replacement road transport will operate between Great Malvern, Colwall, Ledbury and Hereford.

Journey times may be extended by up to 75 minutes when travelling on rail replacement transport.

It is not yet known how West Midlands Railway services will be affected by this.
