Engineering work is taking place between Worle and Highbridge & Burnham, and also in the Weston-super-Mare area, closing various lines.

As a result of this, the following alterations will apply:

CrossCountry

CrossCountry services will be diverted to not call at Weston-super-Mare. Passengers should use rail replacement buses between Bristol Temple Meads and Weston-Super-Mare provided by Great Western Railway.

Great Western Railway

• The 07:24 Bristol Temple Meads to Penzance service will terminate at Weston-super-Mare, then restart to run between Taunton and Plymouth. From Plymouth, this service will run as a replacement bus to Penzance. At 07:56, a rail replacement bus will run between Weston-Super-Mare and Highbridge & Burnham to connect with onwards rail connections. There will also be an earlier rail replacement bus between Weston-super-Mare and Taunton at 07:25 to connect with the restarted train.
• The 08:05 Bristol Temple Meads to Penzance service will terminate at Weston-super-Mare (and restart from Taunton). A rail replacement bus service will run at 08:50 from Weston-super-Mare to Highbridge & Burnham, Bridgewater and Taunton for onwards rail connections.
• The 09:40 Exter St David's to Bristol Temple Meads service will start from Weston-super-Mare. A rail replacement bus service will run between Taunton and Bridgewater, and also between Highbridge & Burnham to Weston-super-Mare at 09:29 to connect with the service.

 

After 10:00, the following alternations will apply:

• Trains will continue to run between Bristol Temple Meads and Weston-super-Mare.
• Trains between London Paddington / Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton (and beyond) will not call at Weston Milton and Weston-Super-Mare. Most services will additionally call at Worle. Passengers travelling to / from Weston Milton and Weston-super-Mare should change at Worle using replacement road transport. 
• Rail replacement bus journey times between Worle and Weston Milton / Weston-super-Mare may take up to 15 minutes via road.
