Engineering work is taking place between Leicester and Bedford on Saturday and between Leicester and Luton on Sunday, closing all lines.

All weekend an amended timetable will operate with a reduced service and extended journey times.

Saturday

Trains will not run between Leicester and Bedford. Buses will operate between these stations.

An amended and reduced train service will run between Sheffield / Derby and Leicester and between Nottingham and Leicester.

An amended service will run between Bedford and London.

Trains will not run between Kettering and Corby. A reduced bus service will operate between these stations.

Some early morning / late night trains will be replaced by buses between Bedford and Derby /Sheffield / Nottingham,
