Engineering work is taking place in the Bolton area closing some lines.
The following services are affected:
Until 12:50
- Services between Manchester Airport and Blackpool North will be diverted via an alternative route and will not call at stations via Bolton and Chorley.
- Services between Manchester Airport and Windermere / Ulveston will start at Preston.
Replacement bus services will run between Bolton and Manchester Victoria, between Bolton and Manchester Oxford Road, and between Bolton and Blackburn.
All Day
- Services between Blackburn and Manchester Victoria / Southport will be diverted via an alternate route and will not call at Salford Central, Salford Crescent, Swinton, Moorside, Walkden, Atherton, Hag Fold, Daisy Hill and Hindley.
- Services between Manchester Airport / Manchester Oxford Road and Blackpool North willbe diverted via an alternate route and will not call at Salford Crescent, Bolton, Logstock, Horwich Parkway, Blackrod, Adlington, Chorley and Buckshaw Parkway.
- Services between Stalybridge and Manchester Victoria / Wigan North Western will terminate at Manchester Victoria.
Replacement bus services will run between Preston and Bolton, between Wigan and Bolton, and between Wigan and Salford Crescent via Walkden.
