Engineering work is taking place between Didcot Parkway and Chippenham, closing some lines.
As a result the following amendments will apply:
- The 22:49 London Paddington to Swansea service will divert between Swindon and Bristol Parkway. It will call additionally at Chippenham and Bath Spa (for customers to disembark only), then arrive / depart Bristol Parkway and beyond later than normal.
- The 23:32 London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads service will divert between Reading and Bath Spa (via Newbury â not calling). It will not call at Didcot Parkway, Swindon and Chippenham. If you are travelling to Didcot Parkway you should travel on the 23:14 London Paddington to Oxford service which will call at Didcot Parkway. A rail replacement bus service will run between Didcot Parkway and Swindon / Chippenham. If you are travelling from Didcot Parkway, Swindon and Chippenham to Bath Spa and Bristol Temple Meads you should travel by earlier rail services.
