Amended late night Northern trains through Hindley from Monday 6 to Wednesday 8 July

Late night engineering work is taking place each night, in the Hindley area, closing some lines.

The following alterations will apply:

Monday to Wednesday

• The 22:18 Southport to Manchester Victoria will not call at Ince, Hindley, Daisy Hill, Hag Fold, Atherton, Walkden, Moorside and Swinton. A replacement bus will run between Wigan Wallgate and Manchester Victoria to serve these stations.
• The 22:19 Blackburn to Wigan Wallgate is replaced by a bus between Manchester Victoria and Wigan Wallgate.

Wednesday only

• The 22:31 / 23:03 Stalybridge to Wigan Wallgate trains will not call at Salford Central, Salford Crescent, Kearsley, Farnworth, Moses Gate, Bolton, Westhoughton and Hindley. Replacement buses will run between Manchester Victoria and Wigan Wallgate to serve these stations.
