Engineering work is taking place between Crewe and Preston, closing lines overnight from Saturday evening until Sunday morning.

Saturday:

The 20:31 London Euston to Preston service will be diverted after Crewe to Manchester Piccadilly, where the train will terminate.

Replacement buses will run from Crewe to Warrington Bank Quay and Wigan North Western, and also between Crewe and Preston (non-stop).

Sunday:

The 09:00 Preston to London Euston service will start from Warrington Bank Quay at 09:22.

Replacement buses will run from Preston / Wigan North Western to Warrington Bank Quay.
