Engineering work is taking place at various locations in the Bolton / Preston area, closing lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.
Monday to Thursday:
The 21:25 Clitheroe to Manchester Victoria service will terminate at Bolton. Onward journeys are available from Bolton.
The 22:18 Southport to Manchester Victoria service will not call at stations between Wigan Wallgate and Salford Crescent. A bus will be provided from Wigan Wallgate to Manchester Victoria.
The 22:19 York to Blackburn service will not run. An additional train will run from York to Manchester Victoria, departing York at 22:19. A bus will be provided from Todmorden to Blackburn.
The 22:19 Blackburn to Wigan Wallgate service will terminate at Manchester Victoria. A bus will be provided from Manchester Victoria to Wigan Wallgate.
The 22:31 Stalybridge to Wigan Wallgate service will terminate at Bolton. A bus will be provided from Bolton to Wigan Wallgate.
The 22:57 Preston to Colne service will terminate at Blackburn. A bus will be provided from Blackburn to Colne.
The 23:04 Manchester Victoria to Blackburn via Todmorden will not run. Customers should use the 23:19 Manchester Victoria to Leeds service to Todmorden. A bus will be provided from Todmorden to Blackburn.
The 23:19 Manchester Victoria to Wigan Wallgate service will terminate at Bolton. A bus will be provided from Bolton to Wigan Wallgate.
Tuesday to Friday:
The 05:05 Preston to Colne service will start from Blackburn at 0539 and will call at Accrington and Burnley Central only. A bus will be provided from Preston to Colne.
The 05:22 Colne to Preston service will start from Blackburn. A bus will be provided from Colne to Blackburn, departing Colne at 04:37 to connect with the train at Blackburn.
The 06:08 Wigan Wallgate to Manchester Victoria service will start from Bolton. Customers should travel on the 05:50 Wigan North Western to Alderley Edge service.
