If you have had a poor experience on a Grand Central service or otherwise haven't felt like we've been as helpful as we could, we may issue you with a discretionary discount code.

These codes are single-use discounts which allow you to get 20% off a Grand Central journey of your choice. They are provided in the format L20-AAA### where "AAA" is a random sequence of letters and "###" is a random sequence of numbers. Codes can only be used once but up to 8 people can travel on a single transaction.

Using your discretionary discount code

In order to use your code, select your journey using the "Buy tickets" box above, making sure to select a Grand Central service (highlighted with an orange Grand Central logo). At the checkout, you will be asked for a discount code - enter the code you will have received.

The code works with your Railcard, but cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, such as our NUS discount or loyalty scheme.

These codes have the same availability and restrictions as our loyalty scheme, however they last for six months rather than one.
