Engineering work is taking place between Cholsey and Didcot Parkway, as well as between Maidenhead and Tilehurst, closing some lines.
As a result, no trains will call at Didcot Parkway.
Replacement buses will run:
Twice hourly between:
- Reading and Didcot Parkway (taking approximately 40 minutes)
- Reading and Swindon (taking approximately 65 minutes)
Hourly between:
- Didcot Parkway and Oxford (taking approximately 30 minutes)
- Didcot Parkway and Radley (taking approximately 25 minutes)
- Oxford and Swindon calling at Didcot Parkway (taking approximately 85 minutes)
The following alterations will also apply:
Trains between London Padding and Swansea / Carmarthen are diverted between Reading and Bristol Parkway via and will call additionally at Bath Spa and Bristol Temple Meads.
A hourly train service will run between Swindon and Bristol Temple Meads calling at Chippenham and Bath Spa.
The train service between London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads will be reduced in frequency and will also be retimed. These trains will be diverted between Reading and Bath Spa and will not call at Didcot Parkway, Swindon and Chippenham.
