Engineering work is taking place in the Southampton Central area, closing some lines.

Great Western Railway:

Services between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour will run between Cardiff Central and Southampton Central only.

Replacement buses will run between Southampton Central and Portsmouth Harbour.

The 08:19 Romsey to Brighton service will be replaced by an earlier bus (departing Romsey at 07:55) to Portsmouth Harbour for rail connections to Brighton. Other Great Western Railway services to / from Brighton will not run, customers for these services should travel by alternative train services.

The 20:18 Cardiff Central to Southampton Central will run in two parts:

  • Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads.
  • Bristol Temple Meads to Southampton Central.

A change of trains will be required at Bristol Temple Meads.

South Western Railway:

Replacement buses will run between:

  • Southampton Central and Romsey.
  • Southampton Central and Eastleigh.
  • Southampton Central and Portsmouth Harbour.
  • Eastleigh and Portsmouth Harbour.

Services between Salisbury and Romsey will run between Salisbury and Eastleigh via Chandlers Ford.

Southern

Trains will be diverted to start / terminate at Portsmouth and Southsea.

Replacement buses will operate between Havant and Southampton Central.
