Would you like to see your photographs on-board a Grand Central train?

Hart of the North nameplate

Our Hart of the North train needs a new look inside the carriages, and what better way than to highlight all that is great about the North East?

We are calling on all our fans in the North East to send us your pictures that show the North East at its best to be in with a chance of your picture being displayed on board the train. From the Hartlepool Quay and Raby Castle to the Angel of the North and the Wear Bridge, we’re searching for the best views and sights from across the region.

We are running the search in conjunction with newspapers across the North East. You can email your photographs along with your;

  • name
  • age
  • telephone number
  • location of the picture

to grandcentral@grayling.com using the title header Hart of the North.

Pictures can also be uploaded to the Facebook wall at www.facebook.com/grandcentralrail.

Make sure you include the name of your local North East paper and please upload/email your entry by 7 January 2013 (deadline extended) so we can review and pick the best.

For some inspiration, have a look at some of our other special trains which are decorated with Yorkshire artist Ashley Jackson's stunning watercolour paintings, and the James Herriot which features photographs of North Yorkshire with quotes from his books.

By entering entrants agree that their images can be used in marketing and on the trains and that their images are original files owned by the entrant.
