An object being caught in the overhead electric wires between London St Pancras International and Luton means that some lines towards Luton are closed. Trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised.

A plastic bag is reported to be stuck on the overhead electric wires in the Cricklewood area. As a result, one of the lines towards St Albans, Luton and Bedford is closed between West Hampstead Thameslink and Radlett.
Delays are possible to all northbound services running towards St Albans, Luton and Bedford.
In addition, services running towards St Albans / Luton will be unable to stop at the following stations until further notice:
- Cricklewood
- Brent Cross West
- Hendon
- Mill Hill Broadway
- Elstree & Borehamwood
Services running towards London can stop as normal.
Please check before you travel this afternoon, and allow some extra time for your journey. For journeys to / from the stations listed above, please see the following advice:
- If you are travelling to one of these stations on a St Albans or Luton-bound train, you can stay on board until Radlett and change there for a service back to your destination station.
- If you are at one of these stations and wish to board a St Albans or Luton-bound train, you should instead take a service towards London and change at West Hampstead Thameslink
- Alternatively, you can use London Buses between central London and Elstree & Borehamwood. Tickets will be accepted on these for no extra cost to yourself.
