On Monday 26 October, we gave out tricks and treats on our trains to bring some fun to customers during the spooky season.
Two of our trains, one on each of our West Riding and North East routes, were lucky enough to be involved in our first-ever trick-or-treat giveaway, bringing seasonal fun to customers travelling during the Halloween period.
On-board select trains and on the platform at London King’s Cross, we gave out:
Sweets
Chocolates
Trick or treat scratch cards
The scratch cards were the real fun part! Customers could win a treat, a £10 hot drinks voucher (pick your poison at Costa or Starbucks, to name a few), or a trick, which gave them a chance to enter a draw to win a £100 Airbnb gift card!
If you were lucky enough to receive a scratch card, you have until November 13 to enter. We'll draw the winner on November 16, and we'll email the lucky customer their e-gift card.
