Thameslink is sorry to advise that some routes are being affected by a shortage of train crew from now until the end of service tonight:Â

You can check departure boards here to see whether your train is running before you travel. We advise you to continue to keep an eye on any updates, as we may need to occasionally change the information about your service.Â

Services between Brighton and Bedford:Â
A reduced service will run on this route, most noticeably towards the end of the day, which may mean your journey takes up to 60 minutes longer than usual. Cancellations and service changes are shown on journey planners.Â
To help you with your journey, where possible, your ticket will be accepted on Southern and alternative Thameslink services between Three Bridges and London.
Thameslink have requested some buses to assist with the longest gaps in train services and cover for late-night cancellations. These are now confirmed and are in journey planners. Â
Services between St Albans City and Sutton / Wimbledon:Â
A reduced service will run on this route. At certain times, you may need to leave at least 30 minutes of extra time for your journey, and possibly much longer.Â
We recommend you check your train before you travel and consider using another route if there is a long wait until the next train.

Unfortunately, despite exploring all the options, Thameslink are unable to resource enough crew for all the trains in their timetable, but they're doing everything they can to provide alternative solutions so you can get to your destination. Most trains will still run, and Thameslink would like to thank you for your patience where they don't.
