Storm Bert brought heavy rainfall and strong winds across the Midlands over the weekend. This has flooded Northampton station and the surrounding area. This means some trains are unable to run as they unable to leave the depot.

As a result, a reduced London Northwestern Railway service will run today to and from London Euston.

The routes are affected as follows:

  • Trains between Birmingham New Street and London Euston via Northampton are suspended
  • Trains between Tring and London Euston are suspended
  • Approximately 1 in 3 trains between Crewe and London Euston will be cancelled
  • 2 trains per hour will run between Milton Keynes Central and London Euston

Ticket acceptance and rail replacement details can be found here to help with your journey.

More information can be found on the London Northwestern Railway website here.
