A fault with the signalling system between Uphall and Edinburgh Park means trains are unable to run between Bathgate and Edinburgh. As a result, services between Helensburgh Central and Edinburgh will terminate / start back at Bathgate.

Disruption is expected until approximately 10:00.

Customer advice:

Replacement road transport is in operation between Edinburgh Park and Bathgate, and will run as follows:

  • 09:19 Edinburgh Park to Bathgate (operated by Ratho Coaches)
  • 09:48 Edinburgh Park to Bathgate (operated by Ratho Coaches)

Alternatively, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on Edinburgh Trams City Route to help with your journey.
