A fault with the signalling system between Glasgow Central and Dunlop means trains are currently unable to run between Barrhead and Kilmarnock.

Disruption is expected until 08:00.

Alternative travel advice

Tickets will be accepted between Glasgow Central and Carlisle via Lockerbie with TransPennine Express and Avanti West Coast services until 10:00 at no extra cost.

A replacement bus, running at 07:20 will run between Barrhead and Kilmarnock.

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
