The earlier points failure between Sellafield and Barrow-in-Furness has now been rectified, allowing all lines between these stations to reopen.

As service recovers, trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.

This issue is expected to continue to impact services until 22:30.
