The RMT union have announced strike action on Wednesday 27 July. This will cause significant disruption to TransPennine Express services.
A reduced timetable will be in place on the affected date, customers are advised to seek alternative transport and only plan essential travel. Disruption is also expected on days either side of the strike date.

Ticket refund Information
TransPennine Express will endeavor to operate as many services as possible. If you are unable to travel or choose not to travel on a strike day, your ticket will be valid for travel on the days either side of the strike action.
Alternatively, if you choose not to travel at all then you will be entitled to a full refund or for the portion of your journey that has been affected. To claim your refund you will need to return the ticket to where it was purchased.
