Can you tell me more about the incident?âââââââ
On Saturday, 7 January, a sewage leak was reported in part of Wimbledon station. For safety reasons, platforms 9 & 10 are out of use until further notice. Thameslink can still run trains through the station, but won't be stopping.
South Western Railway and Network Rail manage this infrastructure. They have already sent their contractors to site, but specialist attendance is needed. Further staff will be attending today, and we are waiting for updates.
