There is a fault with the signalling system at Grantham. East Midlands Railway services may be delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 16:00.

This is disrupting trains on the Liverpool Lime Street / Nottingham / Norwich and Nottingham / Grantham / Skegness routes. Network Rail are on site investigating the problem. We are awaiting a further update.

Trains running through the area between Nottingham and Norwich can run, but will not be able to call at Grantham. Trains running through the area between Nottingham and Skegness can run, but will not be able to call at Grantham. Please be aware that as the above services are not able to call at Grantham you may see a delay to your journey as services are having to take a diversionary route. At present we are expecting the problem to be fixed in the next 2 hours. As soon as the problem is fixed the priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again. We expect the advertised timetable to resume on the affected routes by 16:00. How do I get where I need to be? You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed by 30 minutes. East Midlands Railway are currently looking at alternative arrangements to keep you on the move.
