Can you tell me more about the incident?

The 19:08 Brighton to Cambridge service has been stopped in the Letchworth Garden City area. The train's pantograph, which is a device that collects the power from the overhead lines, has lowered. This means the train is unable to move forward.

Pantographs can lower for a number of reasons, typically due to a fault with the train or the overhead lines which is detected by the mechanism. This is currently being investigated.
