A tree is blocking the railway at Battle meaning some lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between Hastings and Tonbridge may be cancelled, delayed by up to 45 minutes or revised.

What's happened?

A tree has fallen on the railway near Battle, blocking the line towards Tonbridge. As trains are unable to leave Hastings, we are also unable to run any trains towards Hastings as they are unable to come back.

Response staff are on the way and expected to be on site by 16:00.
