What has happened?
Network Rail have a team on site monitoring the water levels and are trying to source pumping equipment to the area. In the meantime a speed restriction has been imposed in both directions.
How does this affect my train?
Trains running through the area between Derby and Long Eaton will be delayed up to 15 minutes, in both directions.
At present East Midlands Railway are expecting the problem to continue for most of the day. As soon as the problem is fixed the priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again.
How do I get where I need to be?
You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed by 15 minutes.
