How does this affect my journey?
Trains from Slade Green towards London via Woolwich are being delayed and will be diverted via Sidcup or Bexleyheath at short notice.
What do I need to do?
You will need to use the following alternative routes at no extra cost:
Thameslink
Services are unable to run in either direction between Dartford and London Bridge via Abbey Wood, Charlton and Greenwich.
Services will be diverted between Dartford and London Bridge via Lewisham. This means that the following stations will not be served by Thameslink services in either direction:

There has been a report of a tree on the railway in the Charlton area, and this is now causing disruption to services. Your train may be held on approach to the area, or it may need to be terminated before it gets to this part of the network or diverted away from the area all together. We're very sorry for the delay to your journey.
Network Rail staff will be attending to remove the obstruction as quickly as they can. Unfortunately, it's not possible to try to run trains past this. We're closely monitoring progress updates.
