Can you tell me more about the incident?

We have been advised of a problem with the barriers at a level crossing at Charlton. This means trains cannot run over the crossing, and as such, the route is closed. Thameslink are working closely with Network Rail to ensure the barriers are fixed and trains can move as soon as possible. Until this is done, your train may be held on approach to the area or revised at short notice.

At times, response staff may be able to attend and control the level crossing manually, and if this is an option, it'll be put in place as quickly as possible.
